Daniel Jernigan is a retired professor of English, who spent twenty years teaching at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore before moving to Greece in 2025. He has published extensively on Twentieth Century Drama including a monograph, Tom Stoppard: Bucking the Postmodern (2013). He also edited Flann O’Brien: Plays and Teleplays (2013), and Aidan Higgins’s collection of radio plays, Darkling Plain: Texts for the Air (2010). He also worked on numerous multimedia and animated projects, providing screenplays for Si Lunchai and All the World’s a Stage. While at Nanyang Technological University he regularly taught a course in Science and Literature and in retirement has continued to pursue this interest, primarily by writing science fiction.
